Thanks for your interest in becoming a member at Calvary Baptist Church! While salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus—not by church membership—Scripture does envision believers belonging to a local church family for worship, growth, care, and mission.
The Simple Pathway to Membership
1) Start the Process (Anytime)
Fill out a Connection Card on Sunday
Respond at the close of a worship service
Or contact the Church Office to ask about ConNext
2) A Brief Visit with a Pastor (or His Designee)
We’ll schedule a short, friendly conversation to hear your story, answer questions, and help you take next steps.
3) Attend ConNext (New Members Luncheon)
ConNext is a casual luncheon after second service where you’ll learn who we are, what we believe, and how to get connected and grow.
Attendance at ConNext is required for membership.
Contact the Church Office to find out when the next ConNext will be.
4) Final Steps
If you’re joining by transfer from a Southern Baptist church, our office will request a membership letter from your former church.
If you’re joining by statement, we’ll confirm your personal faith in Jesus and baptism by immersion.
After you complete the steps, we’ll briefly introduce you to the church family so they can celebrate your decision—no speech required.
