Larry Howie

Larry has served at Calvary for 27 years. Coming to serve in 1983 as Minister of Music/Youth, he moved to Music/Education when his first grandchild was born and he is now serving as Associate Pastor of Senior Adults and Missions. He holds a BS degree from Dallas Baptist University in Church Music. He has served in churches all over the state of Texas from Amarillo to the coastal plains.

Larry’s love of working with every age group in church life has been one of God’s greatest gifts to him. He has been privileged to see Calvary becoming a church that loves and serves all people, everywhere. He and Sandy have two wonderful children and 5 awesome grandchildren. Outside of church activities, he enjoys singing with The Singing Men of Southeast Texas, watching grandkids play sports, perform, sing and everything else that accompanies being a grandparent.
