Byron has been the Pastor at Calvary since January, 2001. In these years we have seen the Lord do some amazing things, especially in the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds who have come to know Jesus and are beginning to walk by faith, trusting in His Word. Byron came to Calvary following many years as a Pastor and Student Pastor. Byron is a graduate of Texas A&M and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He loves every minute he can spend with his wife Jana, and their three awesome kids.

His “other loves” include junior high and high school basketball, and Rodgers Brothers Football (also known as Oregon State). Top those off with his current favorite eating places, Cleburne Cafeteria (Houston), Café Roma (New Orleans), and his all-time favorite Italiano’s (Humble), and you’ll find a happy pastor!
